Let us introduce to Kindred Coffee - Some of the new kids on the block when it comes to the Adelaide roasting scene but not new to the industry. Alex and Dave have over 20 years combined experience in specialty coffee and they are here to put it to good use, doing good with coffee. Let's pass the mic to them for a moment to tell their story...

Luiz Paulo Filho - Brazil (Filter and Espresso)
Santuario do Sul is a project that was born from a goal of being ahead of market trends. Today, in addition to the traditional Brazilian varieties (like yellow bourbon), the farm has more than 30 exotic varieties of coffee - such as the Sudan Rume featured here!
Discovered in 1940, Sudan Rume is an arabica coffee variety. It was found in the wild in the south-east of the Sudan near the border with Ethiopia. This variety is known to be resistant to the coffee cherry disease. Thanks to the disease resistance, Sudan Rume is often used as a breeding variety.
This rare and unique coffee comes with a unique and beautiful flavour profile that shows off soft spices, florals and wine like quality.
Kindred have roasted this coffee for both espresso and filter.
