General Subscription FAQ

What will I get in this subscription?

You can choose from 250g, 500g, or 1Kg and have the choice of espresso blend and single origin filter or espresso for your roast options. Each delivery you will receive a new coffee from a different roaster within the pool of roasters we offer.

Who is this subscription for?

This one is for the variety lover, those who wants their coffee to be a discovery not just a caffeine hit. It's for the those who aren't particular when it comes to origin, processing method or roast degree. It's for those who want to support all their favourite local coffee roasters without the hassle of managing multiple subscriptions. It's for those who want something new and exciting to try every single delivery. However, that doesn't mean you can't hit repeat when you find a coffee you like.

Who is this subscription NOT for?

For those who dislike change, for those who dare not to adventure, for those who like their coffee the way it is and want it to never change, for those who don't want to receive a handwritten note with a silly joke every delivery. Don't get us wrong, there's nothing wrong with that, you've probably just already made the discovery you were after.

What if I like a coffee so much I want it twice, thrice or more?

No problem, each time we send out a new coffee it is added to our subscription service as a product (until the coffee roaster's runs out) you can switch products via your recharge customer portal and switch back to the mixed subscription when ever you please.

What if I choose espresso blend? Do I still get a new coffee every time?

With over 10 roasters contributing to the espresso blend selection we have 20+ blends available at any giving time. However, there may be a rare occasion where you see the same blend but we'll do our best to space them out so you're always receiving something exciting. Coffee being a seasonal good also means that coffee roasters are changing the components of their blends every 3-6 months.

Can I get a decaf subscription?

Shit yeah you can! Decaf can be just as tasty as fullcaf so why not have it on the regular. Similar to espresso blend the options will just be limited more so. There will be roughly 10 options we will cycle through, so plenty to go on a decaf discovery!

Can I get ground coffee?

You sure can, just select how you want it ground at the checkout. Most brewing methods are listed there but if you need to specify anything extra please leave us little note.

How much does it cost?

The cost varies on the weight you choose and if you'd like single origin or espresso blend. It starts at $19 for 250g of espresso blend and goes up to $85 for 1kg of Single Origin. These prices don't include shipping - Shipping starts at $7 for up to 500g.

What frequency can I select?

Currently we are shipping every 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks.

What does the billing cycle look like?

We use Recharge Payments to manage our subscriptions. The billing cycle works like this: Monday - payments collected, Wednesday - coffees are roasted and packed, Thursday - Packages are dispatched to you. We leave a days gap between the payment collection and roast day in case you want to adjust your order and to allow any late payments to still sneak in to the production cycle.

When will I be charged if I order on any day other than Monday?

For the first payment your card will be charged immediately and you will go into the next possible production cycle. So that means if you've signed up on a Monday or a Tuesday you will go into that weeks cycle and your coffee will be shipped on the coming Thursday. If you've signed up on any other day you will go into the following weeks cycle. From then on in your payments will be collected on the Monday before your delivery.

How do I modify the delivery frequency, skip a delivery or update my details?

All of this can be done by logging in to your Account and locating the Manage Subscriptions link within your customer portal. This link HERE will provide all the information necessary to make any of these changes. If you're having trouble with any of this please either email or call us
