A roaster that needs no introduction to Adelaide and Australia. Elementary Coffee are coming up on 6 years of bean roasting and latte slinging in Adelaide's CBD. On the verge of them opening their second outpost and new roastery space we are lucky enough have 3 coffees exceptional coffees roasted by one of Adelaide's best coffee roasters to share with you.
Owners Brad and Carly have extensive careers in coffee and hospitality. They spent many years living in Melbourne working for greats such as Axil Coffee Roasters, Code Black Coffee and Five Senses. They've since brought those skills home to offer Adelaide their spin on things - "Straight forward, uncomplicated yet exceptional coffee."
This is Elementary Coffee's second release with Allways Coffee and we are excited to bring you the following three coffees.
Diego Baraona - El Salvador (filter)
Diego Baraona is the son of Gilberto Baraona - a talented coffee El Salvadorian Coffee producer that sadly passed away in 2020. His family have proudly continued the legacy of their family farm - Los Pirineos. Diego is also a badass, compeititve triathlete! In release 005 by Elementary Coffee we released a Carbonic Maceration Pacamara from Diego, now we share with you the washed process version of this coffee. The variety - Pacamara - is a hybrid variety that's becoming less attractive to coffee farmers to grow in this current day. This is due to the plant's susceptibility to disease and it doesn't yeild a lot of cherries. The reason Pacamara is still popular with farmers and coffee lovers is because of it's unique flavour profile, often floral, creamy and well balanced.

Luis Valdes - Guatemala (Espresso)
This coffee is from the Santa Isabel Estate in San Cristobal Verapaz. The 300 hectare estate is owned by the Valdes Family and 200 of which is planted out with Caturra and Catuai varieties of coffee. This particular coffee is Caturra and displays great quality of acidity and is a very clean and sweet espresso.

Morticia - Brazil+Colombia+Tanzania (blend)
This espresso blend is made up of coffee's from Brazil, Colombia and Tanzania and as Elementary put it "created for those that like a beverage that can wake the dead. This coffee is strong as death and sweet as love." It's perfect for strong and punch milk coffee's with flavours of dark chocolate, dates and toffee.
